About us
We keep whatwe buy.
Arcpoint Electrical Equipment is a buyer, not a broker. Equipment we purchase goes into our own inventory to be tested, repaired and resold, or reclaimed for material. That single fact explains almost everything about how we work.
Why we started
Good equipment gets scrapped every day.
Walk through almost any older industrial site and you will find a transformer that came out of service years ago and has been sitting on a pad ever since. Nobody wants to touch it. The oil is a question mark, the rigging is a hassle, and the last three people who called about it were brokers who never followed up.
Eventually somebody signs a scrap ticket, and a unit worth many times its metal weight leaves on a flatbed for a fraction of what it was worth.
We built Arcpoint to be the call that actually goes somewhere. We look at the nameplate, we tell you what it is worth, and if you accept, we show up and take it away. No listings, no consignment, no waiting on a third party to make up their mind.
How we operate
Four commitments we don't move on.
The quoted number is the paid number
We do not bid high to win a job and then find reasons to reduce the price once the truck is on site. If we misjudged something, that is our problem, not a renegotiation.
We answer, including when the answer is no
If your equipment is not something we can buy, you hear that within a day, along with what we would do in your position. Silence is what brokers do.
We leave the site clean
Fluid contained, pad swept, no surprises left for your maintenance team. The condition we leave a site in is the main reason plants call us a second time.
Your information stays with us
We do not sell, trade or share enquiry details. If you decide not to sell, you will not start receiving calls from other buyers.
Who we work with
If you have a pad, we've probably been there.
Manufacturing plants
Capacity changes, line removals and equipment upgrades that leave perfectly good gear behind.
Facility & plant engineers
The people who inherited a transformer nobody has a record for and need it gone before the next audit.
Electrical contractors
Removals where the old gear is yours to dispose of and hauling it back to the yard is dead weight.
Demolition & decommissioning
Full site teardowns where the electrical scope needs a specialist buyer rather than a scrap price.
Utilities & co-ops
Surplus pole-mount and substation units, retired stock, and storm spares that never got used.
Data centers & hospitals
Standby generators and switchgear replaced on a maintenance cycle while still in good condition.
